Petra Restaurant is a longtime, family-run establishment that draws on influences from all over the Mediterranean - Jordanian, Lebanese, Egyptian, Greek, Syrian - for a uniquely cosmopolitan take on Middle Eastern food. The result is a spectacularly rich and diverse treat for the palate. Enjoy favorites such as dolmades, spanakopita, gyros and kebabs. Plates of tabbouleh, falafel nuggets and baba ghanouj will satisfy vegetarians. A nice finish is a cup of strong Turkish coffee and a piece of baklava. Tell them you're a Friend of Pacific Grove Library and they will donate a portion of their proceeds for the night to the Friends. This is a delicious way to support the library.
