On behalf of the Board, I am delighted to announce the launch of the Pacific Grove Public Library Friends and Foundation, following an overwhelmingly affirmative vote of the Friends membership.
The Friends and Foundation are now together in one organization, stronger than ever, combining assets, creating opportunities, and maximizing support for the PG Library.
The Board and I are committed to recognizing our supporters, the value of funding immediate needs and making long-term investments to ensure a successful and thriving library for Pacific Grove.
We’ll have more information to share in our October newsletter, at our annual meeting next January and through our revamped website in 2023.

The Pacific Grove Public Library Foundation was established as a source of long‑term financial support for the Pacific Grove Public Library in order to enhance and expand the library’s role as a center of learning, cultural enrichment and community interaction. The Foundation provides an additional source of funds to supplement, not supplant, public funding.
